A single tear rolls down her cheek;
A sad and lonely one.
Her heart is hurt and breaking;
Another Christmas done.
No one seems to see her there, her face against the wall.
She longs for love, but still finds none;
And to her knee's she falls.
She asks for God's forgiveness;
For things she might have done.
Hoping He will hear her;
And send someone to love.
But still another Christmas passed;
God did not heed her call.
She longs to end this lonely life, of bitterness, strife, and scorn.
And so one Christmas Eve;
While everyone was gone;
This sad and lonely girl, passed on to the unknown.
No one seems to notice;
No one seems to care;
But on that Christmas Eve;
She found solace there.
